This is a reworked version of the flying toriis found in the opening titles of Kuhaku. It was printed in an edition of 20.
Location
Produced down a back alley of Asakusa in a two person design shop. The room was small and sunlit. It was a Saturday morning. We drank Japanese tea and ate Japanese sweets while mixing paint.
Several times local residents stopped and peered through the windows.
