March, 2003 My grandmother began showing signs of Parkinson's Disease in 1996. Since then her condition has gotten progressively worse. Once the master of the house -- taking care of everyone and everything -- she has slowly become incapable of doing anything on her own. This loss of control forced a very strong shift in her relationship between herself, her living environment and our family. |
